The annual bibliography attempts to cover the year's work on Piers Plowman and other didactic or allegorical poems in the alliterative tradition (e.g., Winner and Waster, Parliament of Three Ages, Death and Life, Mum and the Sothseggar, Pierce the Plowman's Crede, Richard the Redeless, The Crowned King). Work on alliterative romances or the works of the Gawain-poet is included only when directly relevant to Piers Plowman. Readers should send abstracts of their books (800 words) and articles (450 words) to the editors.
