Membership Information

Membership in the International Piers Plowman Society is based on subscription. Dues are being collected this month (August 2009). You can join by providing your details on the PayPal link from the home page of this site, or by sending a check for US$35 to:

Society membership includes:

• Subscription to the Yearbook of Langland Studies
• Access to the electronic, searchable version of the Annual Bibliography on this site (click "Bibliographies" above right).
• Early information about IPPS conferences and Langland-related calls for papers through email announcement as well as on the website.
• Future plans include gaining non-profit status and growing a fund that would allow us to offer a graduate student membership rate and subsidies for graduate students to attend the IPPS conferences.

The members of the Executive Board are: Robert Adams (Director), C. David Benson, Elizabeth Robertson, Stephanie Trigg, James Simpson, Emily Steiner, Helen Barr (ex officio as chair of the organizing committee of the 2011 conference), and Fiona Somerset (ex officio as co-editor of YLS; position to rotate among her, Andrew Cole, and Lawrence Warner). The Executive is in the process of writing by-laws.
